This non-formal, education-quest is suitable for anyone over the recommended age. All of our workshops/seminars/events are in simple language and include guidance by a professional facilitator/interpreter. No previous academic or other experience is required. Some locations/activities can be a little physically demanding (i.e. walking uphill at the Pnyx hill or rowing the trireme) and our participants must ensure that they are suitably fit to engage into this type of full participation.
Use the Participation Interest Form that you can find in each workshop page. Or use the Contact Form. We will receive your request by email and respond within a couple of days with all necessary information, price offer/ availability, and terms. Then you reply at this email and we arrange your reservation together with the payment. Please also note that first you need to become aware, agree and fully abide with all the Terms and Conditions mentioned on the website.
Generally, there is free cancellation 2days for individuals and groups of max 10 pax, and 30 days for larger groups 11+ pax. However, some cases differ, for more details, please review the Terms and Conditions on the Offer that we will send you and also read the detailed Terms and Conditions section on our website.
In case of rain during the workshop, for small groups, we move to a roofed spot or to a nearby cafeteria and continue the workshop there. In case of weather forecast of rain, snow, or extreme temperatures, or very strong winds, or if the historical locations are unavailable for any reason (e.g. strikes) we will contact you 2-3 days before, to arrange a different date/hour, according to your & our availability. If this is not possible, we will be forced to cancel; in that case all received payments will be refunded in full.
It depends. Although the experiences themselves should pose any difficulty, unfortunately not all of their locations are properly structured for the physically challenged. Please mention this on the Interest Form or contact us at info@hellasrevival.com for us to advise on which workshop is more suitable for you.
Casual and seasonal clothes. Since most of our activities take place in outdoor, archaeological/heritage locations under the sunny sky of Greece, we recommend that you wear non-offending, casual clothes and athletic shoes, possibly a hat and certainly be advised beforehand and plan for the seasonal weather.

All our workshops include: 1) an expert facilitator/interpreter (usually a teacher of Classical or/and Human studies), 2) Local Taxes where they apply, and 3) Liability Insurance. Some workshops include venue and costumes rental.
All our workshops exclude: 1) Guided tours (should you need a professional tour guide, before or after the workshop, it shall not be handled by Hellas Revival but we may suggest one of our associates), 2) Transportation to/from attractions (unless otherwise mentioned in the experience details) and 3) Admission fees in archeological/heritage sites and museums (if any).

Yes, a recommended minimum age applies to many of our experiences – please see the related information provided in each workshop’s description. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or by an escort over the age of 18, appointed by their legal guardian. The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for the participant during the entire workshop.
All our workshop/seminar/events are performed in simple English and some of them are conducted in Greek too. Of course, there shall be plenty of ancient Greek throughout each experience in order to enhance its authenticity. In this latter case guidance will be provided by our facilitator in order to accomplish such interactive tasks. There will be no difficult scientific terminology. If you would like to join a workshop/seminar/event in a different than the available languages, please contact us at info@hellasrevival.com , for us to check if that is possible, since most of our facilitators are multilingual.
