Location: Mycenae archeological site
Duration: 2 hours approximately
Capacity: 4 pax – 50 pax (large groups are divided in two subgroups, the workshop runs simultaneously for both sub-groups but in different series)
Description/Inclusions:
- One Licensed tour guide and one Professional theatre educator.
- 1 hour Guided tour: Explore Mycenae archaeological site, the iconic Lion Gate, one of the royal tombs, and the Mycenae Museum. Learn about the world of the legendary kings, the ones who lead Greeks to the Trojan War.
- 1 hour of interactive games: Myth and justice in antiquity come to life through a team game inspired by the ancient deities of punishment!
- The experience concludes with a theatrical activity inspired by the tomb traditionally linked to Helen of Troy’s family, where participants explore—through role-play and storytelling—the cultures that interacted with the influential Mycenaean civilization.
- All materials (Theatrical props such as stickers, little replicas of museum items minimally expressed with respect to the UNESCO site and site rules.
- Exclusions: No audio system, No entrance tickets.
Participation cost: The English language workshop starts at €13,50 per participant; this rate applies to student groups of maximum capacity. For workshops conducted in Greek, or for family groups, individuals, or other types of groups, please contact us directly for an offer.
