Article 1. General, Definitions and Scope
1.1. These “Terms and Conditions” (the) refer to the Information and Usage, the Process, Rules and Regulations associated with this “Website” (the), the “Bookings” (the) and “Booking Confirmation” (the) and set out the terms on which Hellas Revival (HR) agrees to make available its “Services” (the) to “Customers” (the).
1.2. These Terms and Conditions, the Booking Confirmation and the relevant Rules and Restrictions of “Third Party Suppliers” (the) of our Services/Products also set out the terms on which we agree to provide Services to you.
1.3 The Services made available by Hellas Revival can only be used by Customers who have first read these Terms and Conditions and accepted them unconditionally whether it is by the process of clicking on the appropriate box provided for the purpose, or simply implied. It is not possible to proceed with the booking process without this acceptance. Customers also undertake to fulfil the obligations contained within these Terms and Conditions. The agreement between Customers and Hellas Revival comes into force as soon as Hellas Revival provides the Customer with the Booking Confirmation by email.
1.4 Customers should save and/or print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference when making a booking.
1.5. The following definitions have the same meaning whether they are singular or plural.
“Hellas Revival” refers to the private business listed also under the trade name “Hellas Revival” and is registered, in Greece and as follows: Fiscal name: PERDIKOURI OLGA TOU KONSTANTINOU, Primary Business=Organization of Educational Seminars & Workshops, V.A.T.=112625123, Tax Office=NAFPLION, Business Address= KARDAMAKI 18, TOLO, GREECE, and other Electronic Contact Details=info@hellasrevival.com.
“Customer and also You/Your” refers to an individual(s) who reserve and/or book and/or have paid for one or more Service offered on the Website and to whom relative vouchers may or may not be issued.
“Charged Customer” refers to the Customer who is responsible for the booking, either for themselves and/or on behalf of others, paying the deposit and the full price, making any amendment and cancellation requests, for paying any additional charges in relation to the booking and for all other matters concerning the booking.
“Service” refers to the offering of admittance tickets or reserved participation to events, or participation to workshops and/or seminars at travel destinations, within the geographic scope of Hellas Revival, through the Website. This inclusively but not limited may be offered directly on the Website or through a Third Party Supplier, such as those businesses belonging to the sectors of: air transport services, accommodation services, activities services, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, car hire services, other travel destination services and organizations and (pre)packaged holidays.
“Product” refers to a Third Party created/manufactured or stored and sold artefact/item which Hellas Revival –inclusively but not limited to workshops/seminars/event –could offer at a separate price and in the sense of an intermediate online agent directly on the Website or through a Third Party Supplier as a subsequent part of its own Services.
“Booking” refers inclusively but not limited to the electronic, or other process by which Customers reserve and pay for a Hellas Revival Service.
“Third Party Supplier of Services/Products” refers to the different from Hellas Revival legal entity thus called Third Party who acts as a distributor of Hellas Revival’s Services, or as a supplier of a specific Product and in both cases shares similar to Hellas Revival’s Mission statement, Goals and Vision and which inclusively but not limited may be active abroad and nationally in the business sectors of: a Non-Governmental Agency, Non-Profit Organization, Academic Institution (of all levels), Events Management Company, Travel Services Provider (accommodation, or tour operator, or travel agency, etc).
“Facilitator or Instructor or Interpreter” refers to the designated by Hellas Revival at its own judgment and adhoc, individual responsible for each Service. All of Hellas Revival’s Services shall be conducted under the guidance of a Facilitator. As such, their decisions during the course of workshops/seminars/events are absolute and final on all related matters.
“No Linked EU Directive” refers to the exemption of Hellas Revival’s business activities from the E.U. Directive 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 (or any subsequent amendment of these) and other Travel and Tourism National Directives since it is not a Travel/Tour Agency and do not provide Travel Services and Products, such as: air transport services, accommodation services, car hire services, other destination Services, travel insurance and more explicitly services that fall under the definition of “Package Holidays” or “Travel Arrangements’ as indicated in the Package Travel Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
“Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances” refer to the legally labelled “force majore” and the cases set out in Article 11.6.
“Website” refers to Hellas Revival’s own distribution of Services through the electronic platforms: www.hellasrevival.com, & www.hellasrevival.gr & https://hellasrevival.rezgo.com/ websites. The Website helps the Customer to find Greek-culture related Revival Experiences, such as workshops/seminars/events and to make the necessary reservations, or bookings and acts as an interface in the transactions involved with the Hellas Revival.
“Terms and Conditions” refers to these general terms and conditions for booking and use, herein, as they may also be amended from time to time.
Article 2. Scope of Terms and Conditions and Relationship with Hellas Revival
2.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the offering of Services by Hellas Revival directly through the Website and through electronic interfaces between you and Hellas Revival and/or various Third Party Suppliers of Services, including but not limited to: Expedia, Tripadvisor, AirBnB, Booking.com, Viator and others. When you make a booking for a Service using the Website, you will be entering into a contract with Hellas Revival as the Supplier of that Service. Please note that if a booking for a Hellas Revival Service is placed on the electronic interface of a Third Party Supplier of Services additional Terms and Conditions of that specific Third Party may also apply and amend these Terms and Conditions.
2.2. These Terms and Conditions are made available to the Customer before any booking is completed and these are accepted by the Customer at the moment that a booking is actually placed. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the Hellas Revival’s Rules and Restrictions and any Third Party Supplier’s of Services other applicable terms and conditions.
2.3. Hellas Revival reserves the right at any time, to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, amendments or updates with or without prior notice. However, changes will not apply to bookings that have already been accepted by Hellas Revival. It is therefore essential that the Customer reads, saves and/or prints a copy of the Terms and Conditions at the time the booking is placed, in order to be aware of the provisions in force.
2.4. By accessing, browsing, booking and/or using this Website and any of its Services, you explicitly declare that you’ve have become aware, acknowledge, agree and are bound with all the Terms, Conditions, applicable laws and regulations expressed herein. Article 3. Customer’s legal authority
3.1. The Charged Customer must be at least 18 years old, be legally authorised to enter into contractual obligations at the time of booking, have the requisite consent or authority to act for or on behalf of any persons included in a booking and must use the Website in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any other Third Party Supplier’s Website Terms of Use in force.
3.2.The Charged Customer is solely responsible for his / her activities on the Website- financially or otherwise. As a result the Charged Customer when placing a booking, ensures and hereby confirms and explicitly states that all the details supplied for all parties are correct, including: full names, dates, contact details and all other pertinent credit or debit card information. In addition, that all parties agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This includes the Customer’s responsibility to check all descriptions on the Services documentation reviewed and received after booking and even the details for the possible use of his / her username and password in the Website. If there are changes to any of the details that you have provided, you hereby acknowledge that it remains your sole responsibility to contact us and request the corresponding changes. 3.3. Any use of the Website that is fraudulent or is in conflict with these Terms and Conditions shall be reason for either entirely refusing the Customer access to the Services offered by Hellas Revival, or possibly the Third Party Suppliers of Services, and/or to the other functionalities of the Website. In these cases and if payment has already been received for Services from the subsequent reimbursements in addition to the Booking Cancelation Policy (Article 8) administrative fees shall apply and be deducted.
Article 4. Booking Data Validity
4.1. It is expressly agreed that the data stored in the information systems of Hellas Revival or its Third Party Suppliers of Services shall constitute proof with respect to the bookings made by the Charged Customer. Data stored in computers or electronic media are valid proof, and shall therefore be acceptable under the same conditions and with the same evidential value as a physical written document.
4.2 Hellas Revival is doing its best to avoid and timely correct any errors, however due to the sophistication of the implemented technology required to support our business activity, possible errors might occur-such as the price, or some other detail displayed being incorrect. In these cases Hellas Revival reserves the right to cancel any bookings, or even a Service entirely at any time prior to the specific Service’s date. As a result, associated fees that have already been paid will be reimbursed by Hellas Revival in full. Any further claims from your part for compensation shall therefore be excluded.
Article 5. Booking Confirmation and Booking Availability Conditions
5.1. As “Booking Confirmation” are referred the process and activities which include the essential elements such as the description of the Service(s) booked and the price which shall be sent to the Customer by e-mail. Other Customers reserving or paying for Hellas Revival’s Services through the Charged Customer it is understood that they shall be notified under the implied authority they have provided to him/her on his/her own accord. If the Charged Customer does not receive a Booking Confirmation e-mail within 3 full days of placing the booking, he / she should contact Hellas Revival’s Customer Services at bookings@hellasrevival.com
5.2. The Customers understand and hereby agree that they must carry the Booking Confirmation or voucher with them all times before and during the attendance of Services (workshop/seminar/event) in a hardcopy or electronically as a photo, as required by our national law framework.
5.3. In all cases the documents provided for a Service ordered through the Website will be sent to the e-mail address given by the Charged Customer when making his / her reservation. If the delivery of these Service documents is impossible because of an error made by the Charged Customer in providing his / her personal details, Hellas Revival shall not be liable, as it solely falls upon the Charged Customer to be aware of any delays and to timely notify Hellas Revival to correct possible contact errors.
5.4. Hellas Revival prefers and shall prioritize booking availability based in the rule: 1) “pre-booked and pre-paid” participants first, then 2) “offline/onsite” payment attendees and then 3) “on request” attendees-always and in that order. So please kindly keep in mind that, in case that a participant chooses to pay “onsite” just prior of the event/workshop, or simply “on-request” reserve a spot- he/she bares the risk product(s) or service(s) selected not to be any longer available. Under these conditions any further claims from your part for compensation or any other reimbrurment –since no actual charge was incurred on your part- shall therefore be excluded and Hellas Revival assumes no liability for other immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind.
Article 6. Age/ID Requirements and Travel Documents
6.1. Each of our Services mention the related age limit for attendance. In general all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied and be responsible by a legal guardian, or by a designated escort over the age of 18, appointed by their legal guardian. In the absence of this condition the minor(s) shall not be allowed to participate in the Service and Hellas Revival shall not provide and corresponding reimbursement. Any further claims from your part for compensation shall therefore be excluded.
6.2. All participants to Services must carry a valid national ID and, and if from outside the E.U. a valid passport to prove their identity at the beginning of each workshop/seminar/event. Hellas Revival shall not be liable and be held responsible should you become refused of entry to an archeological site, or other event site because you lack the correct ID, Visa or other valid travel documentation. In these cases, reimbursements for bookings shall not be provided by Hellas Revival. Any further claims from your part for compensation shall therefore be excluded.
6.3. The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that he/she meets foreign entry requirements and that his/her travel documents, such as passports and visas (transit, business, tourist, and otherwise), are in order and any other foreign entry requirements are met. Hellas Revival has no special knowledge regarding foreign entry requirements or travel documents. We urge Customers to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by the relevant governments prior to booking travel to international destinations. Additionally, as it may take some time to obtain a visa, Customers are advised to apply for one, ahead of time We accept no liability and we shall provide no Reimbursement if you are unable to secure a Visa or other pertinent Travel Document, or are refused entry onto a flight or into any country due to your failure to carry the correct and adequate passport, visa, or other travel documents required by any airline, authority, or country, including countries you may just be transiting through. This includes all stops made by the aircraft, even if you do not leave the aircraft or airport. This also include any delays and for any reason in arrival for the attendance of your booked Service. Under these conditions any further claims from your part for compensation shall therefore be excluded.
Article 7. Attendance Policy/Heritage Respectfulness/Dress-Up and Authority of the Facilitator
7.1. Participants are requested to present themselves not later than 15 minutes before the start of the Service they have booked for and present their booking confirmation voucher (hardcopy or electronically as a photo) to the designed Facilitator. In the case of tardiness admittance to a Service may be restricted or forbidden by the Facilitator and subsequently no reimbursements or future compensations shall apply.
7.2. As most Hellas Revival’s Services are provided near, or onsite at Heritage, or Cultural Sites, and in general involve Heritage and Cultural aspects it falls upon the Customer to respect and follow any and all applicable national, or international, or specific venue: ethic, law and respectful conduct etiquette (soberness, cleanliness, photo/video shooting, dress-code, loudness, voluntary or involuntary destruction, theft, etc.), that he/she must have gained prior knowledge on his/her own accord-in addition to the respect of any race, religion and all other minorities during the provision of Services. Hellas Revival and the Facilitator reserves the right to terminate your participation and expel you from any Service, with no right of refund, if your behaviour is offensive, or against these guidelines and disturbing during the Service process. In the event of involuntary Customer expulsion, no reimbursements or future compensations shall apply and Hellas Revival retains the right to refuse the Customer participation to any and all future or further receipt of its Services, under the same conditions.
7.3. When you attend a Hellas Revival workshop, event or activity -most of them performed in public spaces- you enter an area where photography, audio, and/or video recording may occur. By participating in any of the foregoing activities, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and the release, publication, exhibition, distribution, display or reproduction of same for any and all purposes, including promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on the Hellas Revival website, social media or any other purpose by the Hellas Revival. You release the Hellas Revival, its directors and employees, and all other persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, display, distribution or publication and use of photos, images, video and/or sound recordings. You waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment of royalties in connection with any use, display, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, distribution or other publication of these materials regardless of the purpose of same, and further waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video or audio recording taken by the Hellas Revival or the person/entity designated to do so by the Hellas Revival. If you have any objection on this term, you may express it in written at least 5 days before the start of the workshop, event or activity. Hellas Revival will reply back to you in written, and prohibit participants and facilitators from photography, audio, and/or video recording during the workshop.
7.4. Furthermore, a specific “dress-up” policy is established by Hellas Revival. Most of its Services (but not all) are conducted on outdoors archaeological sites (hills, parks, gardens etc.), therefore Participants are required to wear casual clothes and athletic shoes and have drinking water with them. Hellas Revival and the Facilitator reserves the right to terminate your participation and expel you from any Service, with no right of refund in case any of these requirements are not fulfilled. Hat and sunscreen and other seasonal accessories are also highly recommended. Some workshops include the possibility to wear an authentic ancient Greek costume, optionally, and usually at an additional cost. The costumes are simple. They include an undergarment (chiton) and a cloak (himation). Chiton is a simple tunic garment and Himation is a simple outer garment, both of them are made of light linen and usually they are worn over your clothes-meaning that you do not have to be undressed (see the relative photos in the photo galleries). This “dress-up” option, if available, shall be presented during the booking process and later at your booking order. However, wearing costumes inside archaeological sites is forbidden by the Greek Ministry of Culture. In the case that you have booked a workshop including costumes and they are not available at the time of the service for any reason, ONLY the cost of the costume will be fully refunded to you without any other extra charge and the Service booked shall take place as scheduled and without entitling you for any other cancelation fees or future compensations.
Article 8. Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy
8.1. As a general Condition Customers do not have an automatic right of full or partial cancellation of a booked Service unless such rights are provided in the pertinent description of the specific Service offered by Hellas Revival or its Third Party Suppliers of Services (under their relevant Rules and Restrictions) and which are provided to the Customer prior to booking.
8.2. All full or partial cancellations should be made only by the Charged Customer by contacting Hellas Revival at bookings@hellasrevival.com. If your cancellation/alternation is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email, otherwise after 3 working days since your request, please contact us again at bookings@hellasrevival.com
8.3. In the event of cancellation or partial cancellation of a booking by the Charged Customer, fees may be imposed such as a standard administrative fee by Hellas Revival, possible additional applicable bank charges and/or Third Party Suppliers of Services charges, which the Charged Customer would have gained prior knowledge at the time of the booking. Where a cancellation affects more than one person on the booking, any applicable cancellation charge will be applied in respect of each person on the booking.
8.4. Full, or partial Cancellations in this case shall therefore be issued under these general following Terms and Conditions:
100% refund, if cancellation is requested up to 2 days before the start of the Service for individuals and groups of 10 participants or less.
100% refund, if cancellation is requested up to 30 days before the start of the Service for groups of 11 participants or more.
In case there are special Cancellation Terms for a specific workshop, you will be informed during the Booking Process, before the completion of your booking.
8.5. If a Customer, for any reason whatsoever fails to complete the course of a workshop/seminar/event and especially as a result of tardiness, voluntary or involuntary early departure, reimbursements shall not be issued and the entire fee (as indicated in the confirmation booking) shall be collected. Any further claims for compensation are also excluded.
8.6. Hellas Revival’s Services are highly interactive, therefore a minimum number of participants at each Service is required as pre-indicated during the booking process. Please do take the time and familiarize yourself with this parameter. As such, Hellas Revival reserves the right to cancel a Service in its entirety if the number of attendees is too low, anytime of 7 to 1 days prior to the start of the service. In this case, and you shall be provided with the following reimbursement options:
100% reimbursement of any fees paid already
A Customer Transfer to another Service, usually conducted in the same time and date frame (+) or (-) of 1 day, regardless of being an equal Theme as the original. Subsequently, in this case the Customer shall be notified at anytime between 7-1 days and he/she will then choose accordingly. If favoriting this change then the Customer shall be required to pay only the balance (if any) for that particular new Service.
The complete reimbursement or complete transfer to a new Service applies to all participants booked by the Charged Customer and cannot be in any case subdivided or partialized. Apart from these reimbursement options, for a Hellas Revival initiated cancelation of a Service, any further claims for compensation are also excluded and Hellas Revival assumes no liability for other immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind.
8.7. As Hellas Revival’s Services are mostly conducted in the outdoors, the parameter of bad weather and/or other Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances may cause the cancelation of a Service. In this case the Customer shall be notified only between 7 to 0 days and/or 3 hours just prior to the actual start of the Service and possibly onsite. Consequently, he/she will be presented with the following reimbursement options:
100% reimbursement of any fees paid already
A Customer Transfer to another Service, usually conducted in the date frame (+) of 1 day, regardless of being an equal Theme as the original. If favoriting this change then the Customer shall be required to pay only the balance (if any) for that particular new Service. If again the Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances continue during this Transfer 3 to 0 hours priory of the start if this new Service Hellas Revival will issue a 100% reimbursement of any fees paid already.
The complete reimbursement or complete transfer to a new Service applies to all participants booked by the Charged Customer and cannot be in any case subdivided or partialized. Apart from these reimbursement options, for a Hellas Revival initiated cancelation of a Service due to Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances , any further claims for compensation are also excluded and Hellas Revival assumes no liability for other immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind.
8.8. Hellas Revival does not hereby accept as grounds for Customer Cancelation or Transfer or Reimbursement in full or partially the change of the Facilitator, who’s choice remains absolutely with Hellas Revival at any time and without any prior notification. Any further claims for compensation are also excluded and Hellas Revival assumes no liability for other immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind.
8.9. Hellas Revival reserves the right to cancel a Charged Customer’s booking if full payment was required for the booking, and it was not received in a timely fashion and at any time prior of 3 working days from the start of the Service. Customers listed on the voucher of the Charged Customer, shall correspondingly be cancelled as well and shall be notified only by him/her. Any further claims for compensation are also excluded and Hellas Revival assumes no liability for other immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind.
8.10. In all cases where a full or partial refund/reimbursement is issued by Hellas Revival to the Charged Customer, or any balance owed for a price downgraded workshop/seminar/event the relevant amounts will be transferred back by the party that received the original payment (such as Hellas Revival, or a Third Party Supplier of Services, or such other party as may appear on Charged Customer’s credit card or bank statement) and to the payment card used to make the original booking. Charged Customers should note that in general all Reimbursements may take up to 2 months-from the booked date of the specific Service.
8.11. In all cases the documents/transfers/reimbursements/communications for a Service ordered through the Website will be sent to the e-mail address and other pertinent details given by the Charged Customer when making his / her reservation. If the delivery of these is impossible because of an error made by the Charged Customer in providing his / her personal details, Hellas Revival shall not be liable, as it solely falls upon the Charged Customer to be aware of any delays and to timely notify Hellas Revival to correct possible contact errors.
Article 9. Overall Price, Invoice, Payment to different parties and Transfer of Services.
9.1. Hellas Revival Services’ pricing are subject to booking channel variables and seasonal, or early, or lastminute promotional pricing, all of which are regarded as a standard practice within the workshop/seminar/event businesses sectors. This means that our prices may also vary in accordance with volume discounts, market conditions, or different currency fluctuations and the various distribution means these Services are provided through. Thus it is likely that different participants on the same experience have been charged different prices. However, in all cases the overall price paid for participation to a Service will not exceed the total price listed at the particular distribution mean which these Services were purchased/booked through and shall include bank transaction fees, Administrative fees, booking fees and any applicable Value Added or other Tax-without any other hidden costs. Thus, pricing variations amongst participants for the same Service shall not constitute grounds for any or further compensation/reimbursements.
9.2. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices for Services do not include insurance, transport, accommodation, food and beverage, tickets to Cultural and Heritage sites or any other costs which are not expressly stated as included in your Booking Confirmation.
9.3. An actual Invoice for pertinent attendance and any other fees (i.e. cancelation fees) shall be issued by Hellas Revival to the Charged Customer’s contact details within 1 month after the date of the workshop/seminar/event he/she participated.
9.4. Please kindly note that the Charged Customer may be charged by more than one party in respect to a booking placed, for instance, by Hellas Revival, a Credit Card Clearance Intermediate Agent or Bank, a Third Party Supplier of Services or such other party as may appear on the Charged Customer’s credit card or bank statement, depending on the Services booked. However the total amount charged will not exceed the total price listed for the Services.
9.5. Should a Customer wishes to transfer their booked Service to another person who as a precondition satisfies, has become explicitly aware and accepts all the Terms and Conditions herein, his/her participation is not guaranteed forehand and shall be subject to Hellas Revival’s final approval. Additionally, in this case the Customer needs to notify Hellas Revival 7 days prior to the start of the Service. Also additional change/administrative fees may be required in a per case scenario of which you should be timely informed prior to any changes made. Subsequently a new booking confirmation or voucher shall be issued to that new person’s name and provided details. In the case that Hellas Revival rejects the transfer of Services, the Charged Customer must fulfill his/her financial and attendance obligations towards Hellas Revival in full, while any further claims for compensation are also excluded and Hellas Revival assumes no liability for other immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind.
Article 10. Health and Other Customer Responsibilities.
10.1. As a precondition with reference to General Good Health, it is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she meets all health entry requirements, obtains the recommended inoculations, takes all recommended medication, and follows all medical advice in relation to your trip and your booked Service with Hellas Revival. We accept no liability and we shall provide no Reimbursement if you are unable to arrive, or if you’re refused entry in this country or any other including all airports during the course of your trip or for any other relevant health related inability to not attend your booked Service.
10.2. As a precondition in regards to (Dis)infestations and Alergies, since most of Hellas Revival’s Services are provided in the open outdoors, precautions must be taken from your part as we shall not beheld responsible for any injuries and/or allergies inquired on the way, during or after the provision of a Service as a result of insects, or infestations, or malignant, or otherwise general health implications due to fauna and flora and the physical conditions of the site where the workshop/seminar/event took place. The same condition includes and all indoor Services, as well hydrations and all other climatic exposures. It remains the Customer’s sole responsibility to avoid exposure to hazardous and unhealthy environments and should he/she choose otherwise in his/her own free will, he/she must be priory inoculated and carry with him/her all means (medicine, shoes, clothing, etc.) necessary to avoid grave situations and possible harm. In these cases Hellas Revival accepts no liability for any immediate damages and costs such as loss of income, travel expenses, consequential and pecuniary damages of any kind and shall provide no Reimbursement for the inability to attend or complete your booked Service.
10.3. By choosing to participate in one of Hellas Revival’s Services you acknowledge that your participation involves a degree of personal risk. It is your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all relevant travel information and the nature of your workshop/seminar/event itinerary. You are responsible that your health and physical conditions are adequate to the itinerary of the booked event.
10.4. Our Services, as well as their participants, are covered with an insurance policy that covers basic liabilities. We advice all participants to choose their own travel insurance policy before leaving for their trip, or before engaging in any activity/experience or Service. It is further advisable to take out seminar or travel cancellation insurance or consider obtaining a package policy comprising of: luggage, accident, civil-liability, and health insurance at your own accord and expense.
Article 11. Liability Policy
11.1. Hellas Revival accepts no responsibility for the loss of confirmation booking materials or vouchers, tickets issued, or for the loss of personal articles and effects, nor for personal accidents, injury or death, nor for losses or additional expense due to delays or damages in transportation or other services, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, or warlike conditions, weather or any other causes or for any of the above arising due to participant’s participation in a Service provided.
11.2 Hellas Revival shall under no circumstances, be liable to any participant for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, even if it has been apprised of the likelihood of such damages occurring in connection with or arising out of your participation in any of our Services, or any breach of this Terms and Conditions.
11.3 As Hellas Revival sometimes contracts either other companies, agencies and individuals to assist in the running of Services and sometimes acts merely as an agent for these and other Third Parties cannot therefore be liable and be responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties or contracted staff and companies.
11.4. Should you have any complaints about your Service, please inform your Facilitator at the time of the Service, in order that they can attempt to solve the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint should be directed in writing to Hellas Revival at: bookings@hellasrevival.com within 30 days of the start of the Service. However, this process doesnot grant you any right to compensation/reimbursement as it serves only the purpose of future qualitive conduct of a Service.
11.5. In any case Hellas Revival’s liability to you in connection with your Service shall be limited to a maximum of two times the cost of your paid Service, except in cases not included in these Terms and Conditions involving death, injury or illness intentionally or with negligence where the Customer shall be reimbursed according to Hellas Revival’s or his/her own Civil Insurance Plan.
11.6. Furthemore, where we refer to Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances, it means a situation beyond the control of the party who invokes such a situation and the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. This may cover, for example, warfare, other serious security problems such as terrorism, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of a serious disease at the travel destination, or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the destination as agreed in the package travel contract. Hellas Revival shall strive to avoid the provision of Services that would fall within the category of Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances and shall in no-way be held liable by any measure and means in these occurunces.
Article 12. Copyright, Disclaimer and Applicable Law
12.1 All of the Website content is owned by Hellas Revival, and protected in terms of intellectual property and copyright, except where explicitly attributed to other rights holders. The contents on this site, such as text, graphics, images, photographs, illustrations, trademarks, logos, and other material (collectively the “materials”) are the property of Hellas Revival and are protected under both Greek and foreign laws. Unauthorized use of the materials may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not sell or modify the materials or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the materials in any way, in private, or public, or for commercial purpose. The use of the materials on any other Website or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
12.2. The photographic images published on the Website are for the most part owned and created by Hellas Revival, by our clients who have authorized us to publish them, or acquired from websites offering royalty-free photographic images. The photos and quotations of the testimonials come from our own testimonial Website modules or TripAdvisor profile, and their right to public use has been transferred by the same users to the platform at the time of the users’ publication of their reviews. We have also integrated on the site some images found on Google Images, making searches for photos free of rights (royalty free). We have processed such pictures, bringing them to the most appropriate measure for our website, and sometimes through small interventions to make the images more readable. 12.6. These General Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic. The Customer agrees that the Greek/Hellenic Courts shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising from the interpretation and/or arising herefrom.

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy“), Cookies Policy (“Cookies”) and Copyright of Content Policy (“Copyright”) all also referred to herein as “Policy” describes how Hellas Revival (“HR“, “we”, “our”, “us”), a private company registered in the Argolis region of Greece address Kardamaki 18, Tolo uses as a data controller your personal data collected from its Websites: www.hellasrevival.com, www.hellaserevival.gr, https://hellasrevival.rezgo.com/ (“Website“), and by any other means in order to communicate and interact with Customers (“Customer”, “you”, “your”), for example: through telephone calls, emails, social media platforms, etc. We urge you to familiarize yourself with this policy as its main purpose is to inform you in regards with the collection, use and disclosure of personal information, as well as the rights you have associated with such information.
All personal data acquired by Hellas Revival, both online and offline, are subject to processing based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of user privacy, in full compliance with the recent E.U. and the Hellenic Republic’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) up to 2018. Personal data does not include information where the identity of the individual has been removed (anonymous data), or information concerning corporate, or commercial entities, or other general marketing/business statistics, models and trends.
2. Personal data collected and processed may be categorized accordingly to: a) Supplier Data, and b) Hellas Revival Data (relating to Customers and users of our website). More specifically: a) as a part of our business activities and in the course of providing Services to Customers, we may receive, process or store certain information, including personal information, on behalf of our providers and business partners. All such “supplier” information are respectively collected and controlled by our Suppliers, who are the respective data controllers for such information in compliance to GDRP. Again, all such activities and Policies are under the responsibility of each Supplier’s own compliance to GDPR. b) As data controllers of its own personal data, Hellas Revival, with this policy hereafter, as described and explained in the Articles below shall be guided in its own activity, in compliance to GDPR.

Hellas Revival in its role as data controller and through this website clearly hereby states that it is not in the process of receiving and collecting personal data for any other reasons than the cases specified in length below. Further, and apart from personal data, Hellas Revival would like to inform you that in this website it may use cookies as the technical means and method of enhancing, promoting and position our Service/Product mix and to allow our users’ browsers to navigate more smoothly between our content pages-in the manner which shall also be described in the following Articles.
II. Personal Data Possibly Collected and Processed.
1. Contact Information (your full name, email address, telephone number, billing/mail address and possibly the number and names of your children should you allow them to participate in our Services). These data are provided under your explicit consent by you with the understanding that they’re required for filling-out orders/booking confirmation vouchers and are collected only after when you’ve provided you consent-by completing our relative forms and tabs on the Website. Failure to provide these data will not in anyway affect your attendance or purchasing of one of our Products/Services.

You’re in no obligation to participate, or share this information with us or anyone else. These data may also include communication information regarding additional options you might require during a Service, or to report a problem or raise a concern regarding our Services, or to promote your satisfaction, or to suggest a new feature, or to report website problems, or to follow us and participate in our blog and yours or our online social media community, or to stay in contact with us for upcoming Services, etc. Failure to provide these data will not in anyway affect your attendance or purchasing of one of our Products/Services. 6. Participation Content Information. Customers when they attend a Service (workshop/seminar/event) consent for the future publication of photos, film recordings, and video streams of themselves, created within the course of this Service. Photographing of minors shall be additionally subject to their legal guardian’s or such other designated individual’s consent. This content is crucial to Hellas Revival in order to promote its added value, create brochures and other advertising material. This content shall be stored and used by authorized personnel of Hellas Revial and/or contracted agencies explicitly for these purposes. Customer consent shall extent to any distribution means and medium we choose, including social media platforms, print media, videos or DVDs, the website and the internet. The photographer/videographer and/or the subjects who appear in the material are not entitled to claim any fees; nor can they demand to be mentioned by name if the material is published. If the participant no longer consents to the future publication of this content, he/she may withdraw their consent by contacting Hellas Revival in writing (explicitly stating which material shall be altered) in due time. Hellas Revival shall not be held accountable for pictures and videos of you, taken by other participants during our Services and for the use of such photo and video materials by those third parties.
7. Especially in terms of Financial Data, as prestated we may use Payment Gateways wherefrom we may collect and process data and fees in connection with e-commerce applications/services which either authorize credit/debit card payments, or issue receipts for on the spot monetary transactions. These may include the usage of a Point of Sales (POS) with link to our bank which may work either through a mobile telephone device, or through a wireless terminal or through a terminal, all connected to a network. These payment gateways protect all transaction activities processed through intense encryption of sensitive, personal information at the respective data collection point (i.e. Paypal, Stripe, our Bank, or local Tax authority). In this case Hellas Revival shall act as both a data controller (in the sense of being the merchant) and as data processor (in the sense of being the merchant processor). In addition each payment getaway shall act both as merchant and merchant processor. Accordingly, due to the nature of payment gateway operations Hellas Revival shall be compliant with all the national Tax law requirements, legal and GDPR standards in force and compliant to similar and relevant installed processes by each payment getaway as to ensure that information is passed securely between the customer and the merchant and also between merchant and the merchant processor.
8. Personal Data of Minors, collected or processed by Hellas Revival shall be collected and processed with the upmost scrutiny and only as required for contractual or other legal matters regarding the provisioning our business activity. We shall therefore accept orders/bookings that include personal data of individuals under the age of 18years old and/or 16years old only if the holder of parental responsibility has given consent (where it applies). This consent, where it is not explicitly stated, is to that effect directly expressed, implied and associated by the customer who undertakes and initiates a booking confirmation on their behalf. Our goal is to provide experiences for all regardless of age. Subsequently the customer initiating a booking/order or actually paying for one of our Services/Products, will state (explicitly or as implied) by registering that either he/she has the legal authority to represent a minor, or that an individual has reached the age of majority in their country of residence. The same conditions apply to any all social media interactions, where the prevailing policy, terms and conditions of user participation in each specific medium (i.e. Vimeo, Flickr, LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) -as a pre-condition- has been already met or consented, allowing that individual to participate in accordance with the laws of his/her country of residence.
III. Which Data and Why are they Important to us.
1. From the aforementioned data categories which we may collect information only the Contact Information Data and the Financial Details Data are deemed necessary in order to fulfil legal or contractual obligations in regards to providing our Products/Services to you. Therefore, failure to provide these personal data may constitute, in some cases a legitimate and justified reason for rejecting, or not processing your order/booking and thus failure in receiving our Services.
2. The other data categories: Health-related Information, Testimonial Data, and Marketing Information although necessary and desirable by us in order to provide you with carefully planned and executed, qualitative Services they are not required for the provisioning of our Services to you.
3. In all cases Hellas Revival as a data controller collects and process data as justified for, in the following legal bases: a) in compliance to Laws and our corresponding legal obligations, b) as necessary for our legitimate business interests such any data required to conduct our business activity, to understand how our customers use our products and services, and to operate and grow our business-subject to your interests and legal rights, c) in defence of our own legal rights, contractual and possible legal claims, and d) with your prior consent, per case and as required by the relevant laws for legal/contractual claims and/or marketing activities.
IV. How do we use the Data we may Collect.
1. The Contact Information Data provided in the associated forms our Website, will be processed only for the purpose of identifying participants to a confirmation booking/order and in response to user concerns, demands and contact. Such data could only be further analysed by Hellas Revival in aggregate and anonymous form for evaluation needs in order to measure the effectiveness of personnel in responding to user requests.
2. The Financial Details are collected through the online booking and Payment Gateways which Hellas Revival may propose or may has integrated into partner online platforms and this website. The recommended Payment Gateway is Stripe (“Stripe”). In this case, your personal and payment information will be provided directly to Stripe and the information will be processed in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy which you can view at https://stripe.com/us/privacy. Stripe adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information. As a general rule, the personal data collected through the booking and payment system (full name, ID, telephone, email, billing and shipping address, payment credit or debit card details, other participant names if multiple bookings are placed under a single card holder’s name), will be processed by Hellas Revival with the only purpose of managing bookings or reservations for experiences, as pre-described and they will not be shared with further third parties.
3. The Health-related Information, provided: will be processed only for the purpose of response to user concerns, demands and contact, and shall not be integrated to any user database. No further aggregate or other type evaluations shall be conducted for whatever reason.
4. The Testimonial Data, and Marketing Information provided will originate either at the Hellas Revival website, or Hellas Revival’s social media platforms as a part of our testimonials and/or blog commenting modules and shall be used with the only purposes: to inform and augment public perception and to raise awareness in regards to the quality of our offered Products/Services. Furthermore, in regards to the unsolicited use of Marketing Information the Hellenic Republic’s Law no. 3471, Issue no. 113, published on June 28, 2006, Article 11.1 and 11.3 also stipulate: 1. “The use of automated calling systems without human intervention (automatic calling machines), facsimile machines (fax) or electronic mail, for the purposes of direct marketing of goods or services, or any advertising purposes, may only be allowed in respect of subscribers who have given their prior consent.” 3. “The e-mail contact details that have been lawfully obtained in the context of the sale of a product or a service or other transaction can be used for direct marketing of similar products or services by the supplier or the fulfilment of similar purposes, even when the recipient of the message has not given his/her prior consent, provided that he/she is clearly and distinctly given the opportunity to object, in an easy manner and free of charge, to such collection and use of electronic contact details when they are collected and on the occasion of each message in case the user has not initially refused such use”.
V. Possible Disclosure of Personal Data.
1. It must be made clear that, as stipulated before, the disclosure of any further personal data to us other than that required for fulfilling legal or contractual obligations and to properly browse our services with necessary traffic data is optional and does not have any effect on the use of the Website and of its services.

In the case of gastronomy related Services/Events certain categories of your personal data, such as your name and your health condition/ considerations may also be disclosed to the facilitator, producers, chefs, or venue owners.

In accordance with the aforementioned purposes Hellas Revival may transfer your personal data to third parties located in other countries outside the EU/EEA, including the USA and other countries that have data protection framework which may be not equivalent to that in your country of residence. In this event Hellas Revival undertakes the obligation to ensure that transfers to those countries shall be made in accordance with the Standards approved by the European Commission or any other safeguards where permissible by the applicable data protection law each time in force, of which you can request a copy via email.
5. We may also share your personal data with third parties in connection with potential or actual sale of our company or any of our assets, or those of any associated company, in which case personal data held by us about our users may be one of the transferred assets.

The photographic images published on the Website are for the most part owned and created by Hellas Revival, and our clients who have authorized us to publish them, or have been acquired from websites offering royalty-free photographic images and material. The photos and quotations of the testimonials come from our own testimonial Website modules or TripAdvisor account or social media platforms where their right to public use has been transferred by the same users to the platform at the time of the users’ publication of their reviews. We have also integrated in the website some images found on Google Images, making searches for photos free of rights (royalty free). We have processed such pictures, bringing them to the most appropriate measure for our website, and sometimes through small interventions to make the images more readable.
