Step into the shadows of ancient Greece for a spine-chilling yet thrilling horror mythology experience that reveals the darkest tales of gods, monsters, and cursed mortals. Rooted in the raw and unsettling versions of myths as they were told in antiquity, this immersive tour blends fear, suspense, and dark humor on a journey through ancient Athens.

Led by an electrifying storyteller, you’ll roam the atmospheric streets around the Acropolis on a two-hour journey through the historic centre of Athens. Dare to join us?

Depending on the day of the week, there are two options: the Classic Horror Mythology, or the Percy Jackson–Inspired option.

Itinerary Details: A Night of Myth, Mystery & Monsters

1) START TIME 8:30 PM. Meeting and warm welcome from your enthusiastic storyteller—your guide into the dark and thrilling world of ancient myths.

2) Dionysiou Areopagitou: Where Legends Walk Among Us

Stroll along the most breathtaking promenade in Athens, winding alongside the Acropolis. Named after Dionysius the Areopagite, the city’s first Christian convert, this historic path takes you straight into the heart of ancient Greece. Ηear the very first myth of the evening—one that sets the stage for all the eerie tales to come.

3) Odeon of Herodes Atticus (stop outside)– This ancient theatre still hosts performances today, but long ago, a tragic king met his gruesome fate here. Will you dare to step into his role?

4) Apostolou Pavlou – Sanctuary of Pan: Shadows of Gods and Monsters

Follow the footsteps of St. Paul along this scenic street, where myth and history intertwine. A quick game will lead you to the tragic tale of a beautiful maiden transformed into a terrifying monster. Outside the Sanctuary of Pan, carved into the rock, uncover the legend of the God of the wild!

    5) The Statue of Theseus: The Hero’s Trial

    Gather around the mighty statue of Theseus, sculpted by George Vitalis, and hear the tale of the monster he defeated—a beast born of divine defiance.

    This is the finish point for the short version of the experience.

    6) Monastiraki: The Labyrinth of Legends

    Wander through the bustling alleys of Monastiraki, where the past and present collide beneath the watchful presence of the gods. With the Temple of Hephaestus as your backdrop, you’ll uncover a tale of betrayal, cunning, and punishment.

    7) Hadrian’s Library (stop outside): A Tale of Love, Witchcraft & Betrayal

    Built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 132 AD, this monumental library once safeguarded the greatest knowledge of its time. Outside its gates unfolds the final myth of the night—a story driven by powerful devotion, forbidden acts, and a defiance that forever alters human fate. When love, loyalty, or compassion crosses the line set by the gods, is the price a cruel injustice… or a necessary punishment?

    8) Monastiraki Square: Where Your Journey Ends, But the Myths Live On

    Surrounded by a whirlwind of cultures, styles, and eras, Monastiraki Square is the perfect place to conclude your adventure. With the echoes of ancient myths still lingering in your mind, will you see Athens the same way again?

    This is ΝΟΤ a guided tour of the monuments. While we pass by some incredible historic sites, our focus is on the chilling horror myths that bring ancient Athens to life in a whole new way.
